Is it true that in addition to the piano test there is an ear training test?
If so, what do you have to do?

Also, are auditionees allowed to bring their own piano songs to play?

Just went to the audition on Nov 21. The piano audition is no big deal and has no pull on whether you are accepted or not, it is merely a placement exam. The teacher asks you a couple theory questions and has you play a piece that she puts in front of you, she has you play both hands if you can or just the left or right. She was really nice. The whole audition was very laid back and well organized, it was a great environment.
