CCI Laptops

I haven't yet heard if I'll get a laptop grant, but I think I will. But I was wondering how it worked. If we get the grant, can we use it to cover part of the cost of getting MacBook or do we have to get the Lenovo?

Yep! I got a laptop grant this year and put it towards my MacBook and ended up paying only like 300 or something!

Just wanted to put it out there that if you get even a dollar of financial aid from the school (I'm thinking that means grants), you get a laptop grant. Like cmberriz said, you can use it towards a Mac and pay the difference.

So if your EFC is significantly below the cost of attendance, you will get a grant. One thing I also want to mention, just for possible future reference, is that if you transfer or otherwise leave before graduation, you have to either return the laptop or pay back the price of the grant.
