I am a junior in high school from New York and I am really interested in Chapel Hill and I wanted to know a few things...

1. What is the criteria like for admissions?
2. Do you need a lot of volunteer hours?
3. Is a 3.7 GPA unweighted, good enough?
4. What is campus like?
5. Where is the closest beach?
6. Is it a diverse community?
7. How is the swim program?
8. Is it big on school spirit?
9. What is something that makes the school unique?

I suggest that you go to the websites of all of the colleges that you have made this post, and do your homework. The answers to all of these questions are available on the schools websites, as well as an abundance of other information.

I just got in with that GPA! but...I'm in state at a very difficult school where GPAs are typically lower...Out of state you need about a 4.
