I'm interested in UNC and nominated by counselor to Uplift Project 2016. Is there anybody who has been nominated and waited for result?

I just received notification (last night) that I was accepted! I'm not sure if I'm going though, because I'm out of state and transportation will be an issue. :( is anyone else going?

Update: I also just received an acceptance into Uplift PLUS. Does anyone have any experiences with it? Know if it's worth the price?

Project Uplift is an amazing experience that allows you to interact with many students who are in the same shoes as you while exploring all that Chapel Hill has to offer. I went last year and I had a blast. You truly fall in love with the school. Don't let being "out of state" confine you; I was out of state and I loved it. Worth the price, and if you go ask the leaders if they remember the "out of state whistle guy".
