just visited unc recently..just wanting to know what you think

verbal - 620
math - 720
writing - 790 (12 essay)
SAT II: American History - 690, Biology M – 680, and math II (taking eventually).
GPA after 11th grade approx. 4.9 - 5.1 weighted
Top 5% of class (approx. 800-900 students)
5 AP's after end of junior year
European History - 4, APUSH - 5, English Language and comp. - 4, psychology - 5, biology - 4 (taking micro-economics and computer science A this summer) – will have taken 11 AP’s at end of high school
All other classes are honors
2 years of Spanish
3 years of journalism (newspaper)
Clubs: Mu Alpha Theta - 2 years
National Honor Society - 1 year
English Honor Society - 1 year
EC: Badminton - 3 years
Tour Guide/Historian at Museum – at least 160 Hours CS
Teen Court Juror - 20 Hours CS
Class of '07 Board Member

    North Carolina resident? If yes, you're in. But even if you're out-of-state you're still most likely in. Just write some great essays. Best of luck.

    That verbal SAT is on the low side for OOS, so you might want to try to bring it up a bit if you're OOS. That said, the rest of your application looks solid enough to probably make up for it (Assuming you write strong essays.) Good Luck!

    If you're from NC, you are definitely in.

    Probably not if out of state- definitely work on bringing up your verbal and play up the tour guide thing as much as possible.
