I'm so thankful that Carolina decided to take an OOS scamp like me....and I'm really excited about it! Who else got the thick envelope today?

Congrats everyone! I got accepted OOS as well. I was wondering if anyone knew what "achieving at the level that enabled us to offer you admission" meant. If my senior year grades dropped slightly from my midterm grades, like say from A- to B+, is that gonna affect my enrollment?

I ripped the envelope open and screamed :-)

    I'm so excited!

Yeah! I got in too! I am OOS (Arizona). I am Hispanic so I think that helped make up for my low SAT. Anyway my stats are:
    1300 (650, 650)
SAT IIs 620, 650, 660 (I don't think I even sent them to UNC though)
    GPA 3.958... UW 4.3214 W
    Rank: 7/464 at the time
    APs 4, 4
Varsity Men's Volleyball, Lots of other ECs (president of three clubs)
Good Recs, and good essays (I am not sure actually, I recycled the same essay for UVa, but I had a really good essay for the pop culture question)

Congrats to all you who were accepted. I hope to see all of you on campus next year! If you are looking for a great way to check out what we're all about here in Chapel Hill, try heading out for one of the Explore Carolina programs. I came last year and fell in love with this school, and coming here was the best decision I have ever made. Good luck with finding that right school!

Your grades need to drop a LOT more than that for them to revoke admission.

I also got in, OOS. :]
