Race + Gender: African-American Female

Residence: Philadelphia

School: competitive private school

Will have completed 8 Advanced courses and 5 AP's by the time I graduate
(Adv. Geometry, Adv. Algebra II, Double Adv. Pre-Calculus, BC Calculus, Adv. Biology, Adv. Chemistry, Adv. Physics, AP Literature, Adv. English, Adv. Spanish 4, AP Spanish, AP US History, AP World History)

SAT Superscore (1450): Reading/Writing - 710, Math - 740, Essay: 21/24

Tentative Major: International Relations

EC's: Varsity rowing (4 years, captain in senior ), Model UN captain (3 years), 250+ hours of community service, community service council (3 years), school advisory board (3 years), yearbook staff,

Summer activities: work part-time at a restaurant, Westpoint SLE, internship at a global sustainability program, summer rowing

Recognitions: 10th grade Academic+Leadership Award, Honors throughout all of high-school

Extra: Both of my parents are undergraduate alumni

    SAT tests are on the low end. Other than that, you have important hooks, good chance.

    Chances look pretty good — philly native, check; double legacy, check; female rower, check; minority, check.

    Which school would you apply to? Also, Penn loves kids who do the HS Young Scholars program if you're not already aware of it. You can take a class during the fall if you live within reason to campus.
