If your mom or dad graduated from Penn but never gave the school any money...do they hold that against you?

    My guess:
    It doesn't hurt you, but it's not as helpful as having a parent who donated a building.

    But I would like to know this too.

    yeah you're still a legacy, so it will help...but like Viva said, it would have been nice if they donated a library

    the one other kid who is applying to wahrton ed from my schoo, who is considerably less qualified, is the son of the chief financer and head judge of the Wharton business plan competition. Sucks for me
