    Accepted! Huzzah!

    It took me like 45 minutes to log in finally! I had received a likely letter a few weeks ago, but likely isn't quite the same as definitely, so it was nice to know for sure. Did you all check your financial aid info (Penn Plan)? I was pleasantly surprised with mine.

    Congrats to those that got in, and to those that didn't, don't lose hope! All these colleges are looking for different things, so if you had a good application, you did the best you could, and the rest was up to the whims of an admissions committee.

    * GPA: 3.90 Unweighted
    * Rank: 3/370

    * Teacher Recs: They were great, I'm sure.
    * Counselor Rec: Pretty good I think.
    * Hook (if any): Well rounded with a great interest in film. I conveyed just a raw desire to learn in my interview, and we connected on alot of issues like film and literature.

    Location/Person:

    * State or Country: Georgia
    * School Type: Public
    * Ethnicity: Persian
    * Gender: Male
    * major strength/weakness: Strength: My courseload and grades. Focused extra curriculars that were in things i cared about rather than just joining random clubs. Weakness: probably my SAT2s. I had some bad Latin and Spanish SAT 2s that were in the 500s. My top 3 averaged at a 720.

    * why you think you were accepted/rejected/defered: Not sure really. I got rejected at georgetown, waitlisted at duke, dartmouth, and brown, so this is certainly a bit of a surprise. I think they just saw me as a good student with creativity and interest in leaning.
