Has anyone heard from Pitt regarding waitlist status? Thanks!

I doubt anyone has heard because Pitt said they would be notifying people starting June 1st.

Now that I think of it, Pitt said they would let us know by June 1st. I suspect they will start contacting the few people who make it off the waitlist after May 1st.

Pitt requested midterm grades then got a letter for waitlist on Feb 21st. Accepted waitlist right away. Yesterday, (dated April 25th) received acceptance letter Dietrich Fall 2019 (no email). Letter does not reference waitlist. This is tough because I moved ahead to second pick, Penn State. I really want to go to Pitt. Very torn because already committed to a roommate and just feel awful about backing out on him, but that seems to be the only con on the list. (and losing $300 deposit)

@devswim I think it is early enough to have a conversation with your potential roommate if that is what you want to do. I think it will give him enough time to find another roommate

My son was contacted off the wait list yesterday. He was offered a spot but decided to stick with Purdue. For those of you waiting I hope you get some news soon. It came in email form.
