If you are not in honors, would you have a very different academic experience?
No! The honors courses are mostly for freshman engineers who have exceptional high school preparation. Seniors might take graduate level technical electives. But for the most part, every engineer, honors or otherwise, takes mostly the same courses and gets the same experience.
