The number of employers at the Career Fairs has increased and become more diverse based on a few recent stories in the Moore School alumni newsletter. Anecdotally, all of the recent grads I know from my business frat have jobs. South Carolina stands to benefit hugely from reshoring of manufacturing jobs due to the low cost of natural gas nationally and the great tech schools in the state. A lot of business jobs are in operations, logistics, and management of large and mid-size manufacturers, so this bodes well. The professional service market (i.e. finance, accounting, consulting, marketing) also seems to be improving in step with the general uptick in the economy.
