I hate to say it for those who've yet to receive anything from USC yet, but I think they'll mail the rejection letters out last (likely on April 1).

You are probably right. Rejection and waitlist letters probably come out last.

I think the last ones are Rejections, Waitlist, or Spring Admits although I actually don't even know if there is a waitlist.

Yea its not the end of the world if you dont get in. There are plenty of other just as cool schools. The east coast is where its at, anyways.

ok so i've heard the same thing about rejection letters being sent out last, but i called the admissions office today and they said that they've already been sending out both acceptances and rejections, aand that their final batch of letters they're going to send out april 1st will have both. so dont worry too much yet!

Most rejected students are probably not in the mood to post that they were rejected, so don't worry about not seeing many people being rejected (also, the people in cc is just a sample of a much larger population that applied to USC.) Goodluck to anyone who haven't received a letter yet.

I spoke to someone in admissions yesterday who told me that about 22,000 rejection letters are being mailed on Friday. He also said that they were still sending out acceptance letters, but that the majority had been mailed already.

well my friend got the acceptance letter today, and he doesnt live far from me...so since assuming that USC sends its acceptance letters by priority mail.. and i didnt receive anything today, im assuming that im rejected and the rejection letter comes by normal mail.

    usc does not waitlist

My son's friend from last years senior class was waitlisted for both the school and the CNTV major. He got in both. Maybe I heard incorrectly and he was just waitlisted for the cntv. But I'm pretty sure it was the whole magilla.

There was one person on here claiming to have received a rejection (actually, their friend received a rejection). USC does waitlist, but their waitlist is very, very small. Most get in off it. Lp75 must also be providing incorrect information, since nobody wants to believe that 96% of acceptances have been sent out.

^ You're lucky you don't go to my school (Northwood) or I'd kick your ass.

In that case, I'm glad you don't live in California.
