UT College of Fine Arts - Info, opinions?

My daughter got accepted to UT CFA for Studio Art but has also been accepted to several "art colleges" in New York, Boston, San Fran, & Florida. I personally would LOVE to see her at UT because we live in state (Houston), and UT is a great school and Austin is a great city, but she is still weighing her options. Anyone have any info or opinions on the College of Fine Arts, specifically the visual arts department?

Well, I don't know. I haven't heard anything special about its fine arts class.

I am going to be a BA Acting Major at the CoFA but I don't know anything about their visual arts department. I personally think a bigger city would be better for something like that, but it honestly depends on if she's comfortable living so far away from home. Hope this helps a little!
