Hello.I come across this essay topic in my application. It says, "What issues concern you? Why?" Hmm...what am I supposed to talk about? Should my essay be objective,or subjective?

You should talk about the issues that concern you.

issues you would talk to people about when at UVA.
issues you would submit articles about to the Cav Daily
issues you would join groups for, fundraise for, or even found whole organisations for
issues you would chalk across Newcomb Plaza because you *care* that much.

my tip is not to try to please the AdComs, but to write as though the University community were your audience.
(also Cav Daily opinion articles tend to be pretty unimpressively written. it's not supremely difficult to match their standard.)
