Transfer To UVA

I'm about to be a freshman at University of New Hampshire but I'm wondering how likely it is to transfer into Virginia after a semister or after a full year at UNH. My mom is a UVA alum so I count as an in state student, which is helpful.

My HS grades aren't anything close to being admitted into UVA, my GPA was something like a 2.9 but if after this term in college or after this year in college my GPA at UNH is something above a 3.6, do you think I could get accepted?
