Is anyone here thinking about doing EFS (early fall start). I am really interested in it and think it could be a good experience. For current UW students, anyone do it and have any feedback?? :)

My son decided not to do it so he could loll around playing video games longer:) The daughter of a friend did it a few years ago and loved it, but really worked hard. She was in a five unit class on (I think) medieval history. Not something she would have chosen to take, but she really enjoyed it once she got into it. HUGE amounts of reading. Since you're coming from out of state, it could give you an opportunity to really get to know the campus before it completely fills up -- then you'll be "in the know" and have info to pass on to freshmen who didn't take the opportunity.

I think they might make you move after that first month, though.

My friends that did it this year loved it. So I'd say if you are interested it seems like a good program.
