Art at University of Washington

I'm curious about the art facilities, teachers, and overall arts culture at University of Washington - Seattle. From what I've seen, there aren't any threads addressing this major at UW. I'm interested in being an art major and possibly double majoring/minoring in English or Business.

Would love to hear your thoughts~
Thanks in advance!

I would like to know this too. My daughter has similar interests to you and she starts at the UW this fall. She also loves languages so she may do international business or design but with an international focus. She is taking a design class this semester so I will let you know her thoughts on the facilities. There is a tendency to focus on STEM and business in this forum but all the technology companies in the area also recruit arts majors from the UW so there are many opportunities. Creativity and creative thinking are essential to our happiness as human beings and also for companies to be successful. Employers look for well rounded graduates who have a sophisticated understanding of how we operate and interact with the world around us.
