Double Major BS OR Combined BS/MS

NerdyOtakuNerdyOtaku 5 replies10 threads Junior Member
So I am weighing my options at UW Paul G. Allen School and what would be the most beneficial.

I am set on getting a BS in Computer Engineering (I'm ENGRUD right now with class standing of a sophomore). However I am interested in Double Majoring in ACMS Discrete Math and Algorithms.

However I want to do the Combined BS/MS program too and I'm not sure if I can do this program and get the double major.

If anyone could offer any advice, suggestions, experience, or just insight it would be very much appreciated!

Have you thought about your career on each academic path? A master's is typically worth more than a double-major as far as starting salary.
