I'm white, from Virginia, and am nervous about getting into Wisconsin. I talked to an admissions officer my sophmore year and I have stayed in contact with the office of admissions since.


Honors Courses To Date- 5 (1 freshmen year, 1 sophomore year, and 3 Junior Year)

GPA- 3.54 UW, 3.84 W

Senior Schedule:

AP Lit
AP Environmental
AP Psychology
Honors Journalism

SAT: Best composite- 1770
Best Combined- 1830 (620 CR, 600 M,610 Writing)


200+ hours of community service which includes serivce trips to India working with Tibetan Refugees

Founder of the Meditation Club (11)
Astronomy Club (9,10,11)
French Club (9,10,11)

Was inducted into Quill and Scroll and Beta Club this year

Wrestled 10th, Lacrosse 11,

    Check the chances chart under UW admissions. Your SAT and unweighted grades give you a 50% chance. Improving grades will help, do your best this fall. Also have a safety.

    I'd say less than 50 percent from looking at the chart. Remember that unlike most schools UW does not "super score" the SAT.

    If you write good essays and have good recs., I say ur in at about 75 %
