GPA vs. Courseload

How much does a courseload make up for a low GPA? Using myself as an example, I have like a 3.4 unweighted GPA but I'm gonna graduate with 11 AP courses and all others being honors with all 4s and 5s on the AP tests. Does the courseload make up for my GPA, or am I in trouble trying to apply to top schools like Vanderbilt?

eh i'm thinking it might because it shows that your school is crazy hard but your AP scores show your excelling national standards but then theirs applicants like me who have 9 APs and a 3.85 GPA but still.... it might show that you can't handle academic pressure
