3D modeling in Maya

I'm signing for a course to learn 3D modeling in Maya and was wondering if knowing the program holds weight on college resumes.

    Good plan. I think that taking the course may not be what's important. What is important is the RESULT of taking that course. What can you add to a portfolio or reel that can show off how you used the knowledge?
