Additional recommender

Wesleyan asks for 2 teacher recommendations as well as one from the counselor. Is it ok to send one additional rec from the supervisor of my son's strongest extracurricular or would that be annoying?

Thank you

I was wondering about that too, but there is no option to add an additional rec. on the common app :/ Private message me if you find out!

I wouldn't send more than they ask for unless they specifically state that it is okay.

I was wanting to send a recommendation from an extracurricular coordinator as well and, since he is a teacher at the school I go to and Wesleyan does't have the additional rec option on common app, I wondered if it would be okay to just list him as "teacher". I contacted the admissions office and here's what they told me,

"The recommendation would not count as a teacher evaluation, however you are more than welcome to send it to us so it can be added to your application. You are welcome to send in as many additional letters of recommendation as you would like."

So, yeah. Feel free to send it. I just wouldn't abuse it by sending too many... I'm actually only sending it because he's the one adult at school that knows me the most and it's surely one of my strongest recs.

Should it be emailed or mailed?

Just email it to the Admission Office.
