I still have my old TI-83 Plus calculator from high school. I plan to major in economics. Will this calculator be good enough or do I need to buy a newer/better calculator?

If so which TI calculator should I get?

This calculator should be totally fine. For more sophisticated analysis than your TI-83 can handle, the labs are equipped with all the commonly used data analysis & mathematics computer programs.
