Even with my low SATs and bad ECs? Something more specific would be nice, otherwise I'll hold you personally responsible if I don't get in somewhere..lol

At first I thought Dartmouth might have been a bit of a reach for you, but then I saw that you are URM. So I would say 75% chance you'll get into dartmouth.
    Chance back? :) http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1411989-chances-wharton-harvard-brown-columbia.html

Don't know much about the other schools, but I know UChicago puts a lot of emphasis on their essays. If you wrote a couple of really epic essays, which they kinda do set up with the creative prompts, they might fill in the lack of ECs and test scores. Take a shot at the ivies too, if you have the time. URM status will defs help on those.

    Chance me?

    bumppp please anyone else?

And maybe something other than race? I mean, I know they take it into account, but I doubt it matters that much. I'm sure they all reject AAs with even higher stats than me -.-

Thanks for your responses! Could anyone say anything about any one of the schools specifically? I know the list is kind of long, but one or two could help :) I'm also thinking about applying to Duke.

She didn't state she is ethnically African American. She's just using the loopholes -critical flaws- in the ethnic identification section to her favor. She is -presumably- white. It's just that she was born in Africa and lived there for however long it may have been.
Seriously there was a kid in my school who was born in South Africa -it isn't even the Africa most people think of- and who lived there for perhaps a year. He wrote his racial identification as African American, which is technically correct but outright ridiculous.
And he got into Brown, despite there being 4 others who were competing for the spot I see by far more qualified than he.
Racial quota system is in general in need of some adjustment, and this practice in particular is bizarre.

But responding to the ipodlover's question, I'd say:
-Amherst and UChicago are as hard to get in as Dartmouth, if not harder (especially Amherst, which is often compared to the HYPs). Georgetown also is quite difficult to get in.
-And I agree with mmhsswimmer. Your essays will be very important and might as well be a game changer. Especially at, but not limited to, UChicago.
-You have fair chances at most schools, and very nice chances at UVA, Virginia Tech, and maybe Oberlin. Amherst is a reach regardless of what you have in your stats, and UChi and Georgetown might turn out equally as difficult. Dartmouth... I believe might be in fact easier than the 3. Don't take my words though -I am likely wrong.
-What school of Georgetown are you applying to? Just curious, but you need to focus into it now else you'll be stuck later.

*You want to major in Psychology. Unfortunately, most schools of yours don't really show a consistent trend. Georgetown is absolutely based on Politi-sci, IR and pre-med, while Amherst isn't too notable for Psychology -though it is strong in all courses. Might want to revise your list unless you're good with anything.

@Dactylic126 I get what you're saying about the loophole, but I am ethnically AA in the "regular" way. My family is decedent from Africa, not Europe.
I'm not banking on UChicago, Dartmouth, or Amherst, since I know they aren't really matches for anyone. I know the essays are super important at UChicago, but I'm a pretty strong writer (hence the 800 :P) so I think I can write something creative (not to sound obnoxious haha). My top choice (realistically) is probably W&M though, so hopefully I have an okay chance there.

YOUR SAT IS LOW ? :O From what angle?
Your SAT Score is good, and your ECs are fine too ! :D
Only thing I'd worry about right now would be your essays, they are VERY important.
Also, if youre a URM + First Gen, it increases your chances I believe.
So Id say you have a very good chance at Dartmouth. Prolly in!
    Focus on the essays and
    All the best! :D
