Emory does not superscore the ACT like the others do? If Emory is your first choice, think about applying ED2. Also I would not do premed at UCLA, I've heard terrible things.
    Emory- Low Reach/Reach
    USC- Low Reach
    UNC- High Match/Low Reach
    UCLA- High Match
    Case- Low Match

I'm a GA resident and went through admissions process last year (as a parent) with similar stats. Having spent lots of time on college admissions research, I think I can say with confidence that you'll get into Emory. Here's your chances with the others:

    Emory- Match
    USC- Low Reach
    UNC- Low Reach
    UCLA- Low Reach
    Case- Low Match

I respect your opinion, but I'm not sure if you well versed in just looking at the stats and admit profiles of the different schools. I agree the OP has good chances at all of the schools he is applying to. However, Emory is no Match for someone who is below the 75th percentile. This goes for all students applying to "elite" or schools with low(er) acceptance rates. I'm also not sure how you can be so confident if you aren't on the admissions committee.

Your list is very balanced and good luck to you. Do you have a plan B besides pre med.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I've tried to get my SAT and ACT up but I just can't get my reading up any higher even after hours of prep so that score probs won't go up too much more. Asides from pre med, I think I'd go into the research industry one way or another. I'm fascinated by infectious diseases and I might get a master's and PHD in virology if pre med doesn't work out for me so that I can do vaccine research. Still learning about this path but it's certainly there.
