Greek life rules... any advice?

I am currently enrolled at a 2yr college that I have attended for yrs but failed and lost my fin aid. I’m on the right track and I’m transferring to a 4yr college next semester and I want to do Greek life.. will my past gpa affect that in anyway if I have a 3.0 right now?

Many houses require an overall 3.0 gpa to be initiated.

Will me failing at the beginning effect me wanting to pledge?

You'd have to check with the groups on campus. A lot will depend on whether they are national houses or local, if they are picky about grades (many won't take high school kids with low gpa's either), if they are looking for juniors...

Not possible to answer you without more information. They will look at your overall gpa, not just the last semester. What is the school considering your gpa to be when you transfer?

I’m pretty confident that the organization I chose will choose me back. I’ve gotten a girls number in the organization but it’s hard to talk to her bc she’s so busy... what’s the best way to get connected with an organization? Should I keep trying to talk to her? How do I let them know I’m interested before rush?
