29 ACT or 1350 SAT?

daisymjdaisymj Registered User Posts: 3 New Member
I am planning on applying to Appalachian, NC State, and UNC Chapel Hill. I'm not sure which score to send where since they are very close on a scale. Do I choose the ACT or SAT based on the school?

They are equal on the latest concordance table. You should choose the one with better subscores for what you want to go in this case (math/science for STEM major and english/reading for liberal arts). If you are still not sure send both and colleges will pick the one that puts you in the best light.

To clarify, when my daughter signed in with her student ID, it automatically sent her ACT score through to commonapp. She never sent it. The only score she sent was her SAT.
