William and Mary

To start I initially did not want to go to the school, but once i toured, i fell in love with the campus and can totally see myself going. i now REALLY want to go to william and mary. I have a 4.4ish GPA and a 1420 Sat score im also an instate student. However, i applied regular decision and i know they take a lot of people who applied ED. Likewise i’m worried that other students in my class that are above me in rank will ruin my chances of getting in. I’m on the cusp of the top 10% (13 out of 128 ish). i’ve also taken 10+ Aps and i am a cheerleader and national speech and debate competitor. looking at the stats i have a lot of the criteria but i don’t know if i’m worrying too much or if i have a reason to be concerned.
here are some stats on w&m for context
-instate: 45%
-out of state: 31%
-EDpercent accepted: 57% (majority instate) (ED makes up about 40% of incoming class)
-sat 1310-1490

I think you’ll be fine. Don’t worry about anything. You seem qualified and I think you have a great chance at admission. Do not stress. Log off of CC. Relax and enjoy the time in between admissions decisions.

You qualifications look good. The only soft point might be class rank, but your school may not even report and then they'll look at GPA and the challenge of your coursework. That is all very good. If you did a good job on essay that will also help. GeorgetownDude is right that you should not stress. It is out of your hands now and you've done all you can do. Things will work out fine.
