I know I’m on the lower side stats-wise. If anyone could just give me their opinion I’d really appreciate it!

Gender: Female
Intended major: Undeclared
Location: NJ
School rank: Top 20% out of 240 (go by decile system, but my HS decided in June to stop including rank on our transcripts)

GPA: 91 UW / 96 W

SAT: 1350 (superscored), 1340 in one sitting

SAT Essay: 21/24

Course Rigor:

I took 3 APs Junior Year (a little uncommon for my HS), and scored a 5 on APUSH, a 5 on APLang, and a 4 on AP US Govt. & Politics.

This year I am taking 3 more AP Classes (Pysch, AP Lit. Comp, AP Macro & Micro Economics).

I was supposed to take 5 but had schedule conflicts with Bio and Euro.

-Served as a freshman advisor in my highschool during my junior year

-Volunteer Assistant Track Coach for local rec track and field team

-Student Govt Class Rep

-NHS member

Your stats are in range and you like the school... Don’t worry what strangers on the internet say and just apply! no one here can tell you one way or another as there are so many factors. In the end, depends on who reads your application and how they feel about it. Good luck!

As an early applicant you have a chance. Your GPA is good. You would have a better chance picking a school with binding ED.

Thank you for the encouragement!! To be honest, I wasn't sure if my SAT was high enough to be considered for admission because it's lower than the avg. for Richmond's Class of 2023. Hearing that my stats are at least in range makes me feel a lot better
