Yep that's it. I am an international student from India.

What are my odds at Upenn( wharton) especially.

I have a year left to graduate, is there anything I can do to improve my profile?

I am also applying for need based aid at all the university.

If not Upenn, what school you think I should apply to ?( I am financially restricted. My parents can pay minimum $10000 to maximum
$20000 per annum)

And yeah after converting my board marks (95 % )to gpa , I have a gpa of 4.0

Thank you for reading

I would really appreciate it if you could reply.

Hang in there--someone with knowledge will respond--I'm not familiar with the schools you mention or your major in general.

Your stats/ECs are impressive but so are many applicants at these schools and you have a much reduced admit chance as an international, however, your admit chances are not as much of an issue as funding is. You have some of the most expensive schools in the US on your list to start with, and then:
    - NYU is almost certainly not going to give you enough aid (and it is need aware admissions for internationals). Apply, but be prepared for funding disappointment if admitted.
    - UW is a public school and provides no aid or funding to internationals, so it shouldn’t even be on your list.
    - USC has limited merit scholarships, which are unlikely to be enough, and I am not sure if their new policy of free tuition for <$80k income families (which I believe - but may be wrong - only applies to domestic students) will reduce further any money available for internationals.
    - Penn will provide need based aid if it admits you, but note it is also need aware admission for internationals, and their definition of need may not be the same as yours. So it is the only semi realistic chance, but that semi is tempered by a very low chance of admit in the first place.

I will suggest you apply to some colleges further down the rankings if you need aid, where your excellent efforts are more likely to stand out, and where there is generally a lower cost of attendance to begin with making the needed aid lower. Two colleges that we have seen reports of good aid (full or almost full freight) offered to Indian students recently are Wesleyan and Ohio State. You may find local Indian student forums have further good info about which colleges tend to be more generous to internationals.
