Am I completely screwed?

Am I completely screwed because I got a C in AP Chem? Or will colleges overlook that because it is such a hard course. Its the only C that ive gotten in high school, except for 8th grade algebra which counts for credit, is on our transcript, and is part of our GPA. It brought down my GPA by .1 and moved me down 10 spots in my class rank since last year.

My GPA is 3.6 W and 3.4UW.
Ive taken 1 AP sophmore year, 3 junior, and 5 senior. Ive gotten a mix of A's and B's, mostly 50/50. My question is will betting a C in AP Chem really hurt my chances of getting into colleges, or will they look past that and see that I took a ton of AP classes, and would rather that I challenged myself and got a slightly lower grade. In my other AP's from junior and sophmore years i got B's. On my SAT's i got 540 CR, 630 math. I was kinda shaken up during the tests because I got in an accident on the way there and barely made it to the test center, so i didnt do my best. Im retaking them in october.

Im applying to:

University of Dayton
Ohio Northern
Ohio State
Univ of Miami
Rochester Institute of Technology

So what are my chances of getting into these schools. If I get better SAT scores will that compensate for a lower GPA?

UM might be a challenge but Lehigh isn't terribly selective, nor is Ohio Northern/State.

Lehigh is actually quite selective. 27.9% admit rate for the class of 2012.

Do applications want our weighted or un-weighted GPAs? And how do we get our weighted ones? (I'm looking to apply for college too right now)

Also, I'd say go for those schools as your "reach schools" and still have your "fit-match schools" to fall back on just in case.

So will having a C in AP Chem completely screw me over for admission to more selective schools (Bucknell, Lehigh, Villanova), or would they rather that I challenged myself and took more challenging classes

It would have been better if you got an A in AP Chem, but it shouldn't be grounds to accept/reject you. You have good shot at all of your schools.
