Are AP scores considered in admission? I've heard dissenting views and am worried considering I have a strong AP record and would like that to be evaluated.

Ok, so I have 13 AP scores of 5(Freshman, Sophomore, Junior years). Will this and my National AP Scholar status be worth much? I self studied for 7 of those exams.

Thanks, really appreciate any feedback.

Dude, it will help, of course, but didn't you take that year off? The reasearch you are doing (were you?) is probably all you have to worry about.

sorry for the late response. and thanks for the replies. no, i was planning on going to Penn this year, but i'm staying another year in high school(my actual senior year) to retry for some schools. but for the env sci-i just used the barrons. yeah, i know it's very thick but it provides extensive case study examples and labwork examples which tripped up many people on the free response portion of the test. start studying that in february. or if you tell me what APs your planning on testing in, i could show you how to set up a study sched. it's just about persistence..but if you don't have any background knowledge in the areas you wanna self study, god help you.
