D's phone call went well, she said (I wish I had more specifics.) Admissions personnel she spoke with said she had no "deficiencies" but that she didn't fit the profile for WOW, income too high (even though we feel quite poor, family of 5 on one public school employee salary) and parents with MA degrees not quite the target audience. They talked a bit about her essay details but I don't recall exact feedback. She said that the only possible "issue" to consider was that D had 2 Bs junior year in AP classes; not sure if that was a warning that wasn't great and to not get any senior year or what. Not sure it was earth shattering but D felt better about not getting into WOW afterwards so was likely worth it just for that.

My admissions personnel was very nice and chill with everything. I asked multiple questions, and they all got answered. However, they really didn't go into that much detail of why I was rejected other than there were so many qualified applicants. Other than that, it went very well!

    For Archival Purpose:

    Acceptance rate to WoW(2016): 16%. ~240/~1500

Acceptance rate to Williams College as a WoW attendee(for WoW 2015): ~95%. Most common reasons to be accepted to WoW but then rejected from Williams are bad rec letters and severe senioritis.

on the EPHblog, it says that 85% of the students that got accepted into WOW got accepted into the college.

Edit: the 16% figure seems accurate tho.

@kassh4 I think ~85% was for class of 2019. The 95% figure I got for the class of 2020 came from the reps during WoW.
