Technical things in Smith supplemental essay (Help)

So they asked "If you could star in any movie, what movie would you pick and why". And Doctor Who was the first to pop up in my head. However it's a tv series, and I was afraid this little technical mistake might make me unsuited for Smith. Is it okay to write about TV SERIES?

It's a little silly but I don't want to risk anything.

I say go for it. They want to know more about who you really are, and how well you express yourself. If who you are is a Whovian, then be that Whovian. Stick in a sentence at the start saying what you said here, that even though it's not a movie, Doctor Who was the first thing you thought of when you read the prompt. Write as well as you possibly can, and let your personality jump off the page.
