For those taking the new 2012 AP French test...

There is actually an AP study book for the new AP French test, it's by REA, and it's called : AP French Language and Culture All Access (Advanced Placement (AP) All Access) [Paperback]. It is currently the only AP study book tailored to the new AP french test.

You can buy it for about 18$ at Amazon.com, and get a free two-day shipping (b/c of a promotion going on). Since I searched and searched for something to help me out with this new test, I just thought any of you guys taking the AP French test would want to know about this. Anyways, hope it helps!

Thank you for this! My french teacher is giving us some material to study from for the AP test, but I don't think anything will help (me, personally at least) more than an actual structured test prep book- especially considering how disorganized AP french has been in general this year with the confusion of the new test. At least that's how my class has been, if everyone else's has been good, I'm probably screwed.............

There's a good book called AP French preparing for the language and culture examination. published by Pearson
The only problem is it doesn't have the answers so you would need a teacher.

My AP French teacher purchased this book. We've taken one of the practice reading tests. I, of course, don't know if it's an accurate representation of the AP exam, but I didn't see any major problems with it. Explanations are given for every answer choice--why they are wrong, why one is correct--which helped me quite a bit on a certain few questions.
My school also uses Pearson's AP French and Allons au-del

I have the REA AP French book for 2012 - it's quite good! Explains all the parts in detail, gives examples, and there's TONS of practice prompts/conversations/etc for all the different parts. Highly reccommended, if anyone still needs a practice book. Mine's just from Barnes & Noble.

I just took it today! The multiple choice was manageable, the writing composition was about internet privacy, and the speaking conversation i got confused but the next speaking one that was two minutes was good! It asked to compare your community with a french community.
