620 on Spanish SAT, should I take AP Spanish?

I got 620 on the Spanish SAT; should I take AP Spanish? I'm a native speaker and know the grammar intuitively but haven't studied it as a foreign language. Maybe my score is too low to waste my time. Any suggestions?

I got a 580ish on the Spanish SAT subject test and passed the AP Spanish exam with a 3.

Have you taken any other Spanish classes? Usually your guidance counselor can help you with this since every school is different.
