Yale Engineering vs Normal

Does Yale Engineering have a higher acceptance rate than the rest of the school? I want to major in either chemistry or environmental engineering, and I am undecided on which one. I understand that yale accepts people to the university as a whole, but last year Yale only graduated 200 people from their engineering school, leading me to believe that its way harder to get into Yale engineering than another major.
I have not taken AP Chemistry (only honors), I have taken Math II and Biology subject tests (800 on both), and I took Ap Physics. I have research in both chemistry and engineering, and Intel ISEF awards from both those projects
Purely from the point of which major will maximize my chances of admission, which major should I apply to?

It doesn't really matter...I'd just go with whichever one you're more interested in. It's not harder to get into Yale engineering than another major. It's just the types of people who choose to go to Yale tend to not be as interested in majoring in engineering.

But Yale engineering is great and there are tons of opportunities because the class sizes and student : faculty ratio are significantly smaller than at many other colleges, which translates to more personal attention and research opportunities. As far as admissions go, Yale has been trying to attract more STEM talent, so it would be a small boost if anything.
