Moving out questions

We will be going up early next week to move my son home for the summer. He is living in Cerro Vista. When we moved him in they allowed everyone to park in the student parking lots free of charge while they spent the day hauling possesions up to their rooms. My question is: does anyone know if they will allow parents to park anywhere close Cerro Vista next week while we haul of those possesions back down and load up our car? I think the parking passes that they issue at the entrance only allow parking in that first big lot. Way to far from Cerro.
