I am a senior in high school right now, taking a majority of IB classses. Earned a B average my junior year, but am worried about a D that I have in a class right now. I currently have a D in statistics. I took calculus my junior year, so that puts me at 5 years of math (including algebra and geometry in middle school), which isnt counting my statistics class. I was wondering if i were to get the D for my last semester grade, if most schools would take back an acceptance. SO far I have been accepted to San Jose State as well as CSU Pomona. Any imput at all would be helpful…thanks.

Yes, schools may rescind acceptances for “D” grades. Considering that the economy is forcing many more students to go to public universities now, public universities may be particularly strict this year about accepted students’ final grades. The fact that you don’t need the stat class isn’t probably going to matter to colleges. Your grade will matter.
