taking algebra 2 online course

I was thinking about taking algebra 2 course online during the summer.
I know it is going to be a lot of work but I'm getting a tutor to help me
twice a week so it should be fine.
That way, I would be able to skip the regular algebra 2 class when the school year starts and take pre-calculus instead during my junior year, and AP calculus during my senior year.
I thought about taking the summer school, but decided that the online course would be a better idea.
However, this is my first time and I'm not really sure how this works.
Can somebody post a website where you can get credits for taking online classes?

any advices?
