Top Schools with NO Greek Scene

Which top schools have no/very minimal Greek scenes?

Notre Dame has literally no Greek scene.

Yale’s Greek scene is pretty non-existent.

Georgetown

Boston College

Chicago and G-town come to my mind.

NYU has no greek life

Princeton.

Any of the seven sisters.

Amherst College

I was just gonna say NYU :)

Rice Rice Rice

Brandeis University - While there are a small handful of Greek organizations (only two sororities and a couple fraternities) off campus, Brandeis neither sanctions nor recognizes the Greek system at the University. Brandeis does not believe Greek life represents the university’s philosophy of inclusion and openness.

Conn college- is it a top school though?

Most highly selective liberal arts colleges have very minimal or no greek life

For those wondering, Yale and NYU both have fraternities, although the systems are fairly small. NYU is one of the few schools to have a Delta Lambda Phi chapter. :)

Swarthmore has 2 very small fraternities–essentially no Greek “scene”.

University of Connecticut

Johns Hopkins University. It exists but is VERY small.

Coolbrezze: Upenn does have a greek scene… pretty substantial actually haha

Yale has Greeks, but the system is extremely small; Princeton has no Greeks, but the eating clubs function a lot like fraternities, and according to some, have a similar feel. Harvard has neither, I believe. Of the top top schools, Stanford and MIT have the most substantial Greek presence.
