Ivy League Sweep: Applicant Runs the Table in Ivy Admissions

@jumbatales, if the most important part of your identity is your race, then the racists have done their job.
Ever heard that saying, people only see you the way you see yourself? As long as you see yourself as black first, you will find racism wherever you go.
As for me, I am a poet, aspiring novelist, amateur researcher/inventor, graphic artist, entrepreneur, keyboardist, flautist, guitarist, music mixer, tutor, programmer, nationally recognized student, sister to the most awesome boys on the planet, and a STEM-oriented melancholic metalhead who devours literature. Black is way, way down on the list. And because that is what I project, that is the way the people I meet treat me - as a talented teenager, not a black whiner.
