Yet another Ivy Hopeful

I looked for the surveyed Harvard 2018 SAT numbers here: <a href=“The Harvard Crimson | Class of 2018 By the Numbers”>http://features.thecrimson.com/2014/freshman-survey/admissions/</a> and it shows virtually identical SAT numbers for male and female students. I suspect Yale scores are similar, and I doubt they look at test scores differently when evaluating males and females. Obviously you are a qualified candidate (although not exceptional for Yale), thus the decision is liable to come down to essays, recommendations, the general impression left by your application, and possibly your interview (the last is debatable).

I hope you asked your sister to proofread your essays before you submitted your application!
