<p>@hillyer300 While you’ll find kids from all over the country and world at Bowdoin, the student population is still very ME/MA/New England heavy and I think they’re trying hard to diversify…esp since, as amazing a school as it is, it doesn’t seem to have the name recognition as peer schools like Amherst or Wesleyan or Tufts.I wouldn’t call it a “hook” really…but being a student who is not from the Northeast can only help!
