<p>DD did not come home for Thanksgiving because we live so far away. Fortunately, one of her professors issued a blanket invitation to join his family for the afternoon. DD was the only student who took him up on it. She had a really good time, and I’m sure it helped keep the holiday blues at bay.</p>
