What you tried to focus on in your application - any hooks you tried to make for yourself: Stigma around women in by desired job field.
Weaknesses: SAT Score
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: I’m really not sure. Maybe I had a bad interview? I thought it had went. Kirk Brennan did say the acceptance rate was lower for those who did the interview, but I figured it was because of those who were trying to compensate for deficiencies in other areas. I would not say my test scores were a factor. I think the decision would’ve been the same even if I broke 2000.
Where else were you accepted/deferred/rejected:
Accepted: Northwestern (but rejected here?), UFlorida, UMiami, Northeastern, UMinnesota, UAlabama, SUNY Albany, SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Stony Brook, Syracuse- Newhouse (but rejected here?)
Notes: Was definitely surprised that I got rejected, but oh well. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I guess they thought I wouldn’t be a good fit. That’s okay though
