Major change UCSB

I guess its fun to play UC adcom, even if the actual policy can be found on the web or by checking with UCSB admissions. Of course had the kid listened to you and done nothing now they would have faced this

Change of major requests may take up to two weeks to process. For College of Engineering majors, a change request may take more than two weeks and may not be possible at all because of limited space (see below).

If you do not change your major prior to enrollment at UC Santa Barbara, your next opportunity to change your major will be after at least two quarters of enrollment.
