If you do not get in, they may offer you the Trojan Transfer Plan which would do just what you are asking. Only those on the TTP get the luxury of meeting with an advisor to discuss transferring, and offer suggestions what to take based on the school you are attending. You meet with them during the summer before you start/register for Freshman year classes. They are pretty strict on offering this service only to potential transfers that get offered the TTP, I suppose this is because if they offered advising to all transfer applicants, they would need to triple their staff. However, there are online articulation agreements which tell you which classes transfer from the most common schools, and you can look those up once you know the school you would attend, if not USC.
People are notified if they are being offered the TTP on the rejection/denied letter. If it is not on that letter, you are not being offered the TTP. Best of luck @pterosprite, I think many on here are cheering for you!
