Thank you for applying to Northeastern University. After careful review of your application and accompanying credentials, the
Admissions Committee is unable to offer you admission for the fall semester. However, in recognition of your academic potential,
we are pleased to offer you a special opportunity to enroll at Northeastern University for the Fall 2018 semester.
In order to be eligible to enroll in Northeastern University for the Fall 2018 semester, you must enroll at Northeastern University’s
College of Professional Studies or an accredited college or university of your choice and complete a minimum of 30 semester
hours of transferable, college-level academic course work. Remedial and developmental courses are not transferable. These
semester hours must be completed after high school graduation and you must earn a cumulative grade point average of a
3.0 or better. Course transferability is not guaranteed, so we strongly encourage you to familiarize yourself with our transfer credit
practices and our online transfer equivalency database before registering for classes.
We strongly recommend that you complete courses in the following areas of study. Please note that you must earn a letter grade
of C or better to be eligible to receive college credit for a particular course. Additionally, you must declare a major upon entry to
the university.

English Composition I, II (equivalent to ENGW 1111)
1 Social Sciences course
Psychology or Sociology
1 Humanities course
Philosophy or Religion
1 Natural Science course with Lab
Biology or Chemistry or Environmental Science
1 Mathematics course
Precalculus or higher

When you meet the requirements outlined above, you will be offered admission for the Fall 2018 semester. Failure to meet these
